Minimal Makeup Bag

Look, even if you have the most minimal closet, its not like you carry it around with you all the time. Even if you are traveling you don't take everything? Do you? But how many of us carry tons of stuff in our purse "just in case"? In the interest of having a happy life or at least a happier back I present my Minimal Makeup Bag. This changes periodically and sometimes it is more minimal than others but it is always pretty small. Here are the current selections. Everything fits in the tiniest little makeup bag so I can keep it together with some mints just in case I have onions or something.

Okay, I wrote that up 3, almost 4 years ago. Guess what? Not a lot has changed. I added concealer and mascara and changed some of the products. I start with Nip+Fab's Sheer Makeup Fix. It is kind of a cross between primer and BB cream. When I first wrote this BB cream didn't even exist yet! For Eyeliner, I go back and forth between L'oreal's long wearing gel and Make Up Forever's pencil liners. I love the dark brown thick MUF liner. For my cheeks and lips in a pinch I use one of a couple of different lipsticks or I use Korres cheek butter in the crimson. Mascara is from Cover Girl Lash Blast 24 hour and the concealer is Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin. Hey! I'm almost 50 now concealer should be covered as a non-taxable necessity.
